If you are a gamer and want to share your opinion and hear others, then you should join one of the many gaming communities and forums that are available online. That is where you will be able to find all the latest news and happenings in the gaming world. You do not have to be a hardcore gamer to enjoy the discussions on the forums. It doesn’t really matter what genre you are into, there is a forum for every game genre. There are racing forums, FPS (first person shooter) forums, MMORPG forums and of course forums that covers all the different genres etc, the list can be made a lot longer.
What can you expect from the forums? Well, it all depends on the specific forum you decide to join. For example, if you want to know about the best boostmmr service for DOTA, then a DOTA community can help you. But overall you can expect a lot of great people that are friendly (most of them) and have the same interests as you. Forums are also a great place to get the absolute latest news about game releases and other events. Because if one of the members finds something interesting they will most likely post it on the forum to reach a bigger crowd. I’m sure you know how hard it is to follow something if you don’t really know what to look and search for. And if you find something that a lot of people would like to know, then just post it on the forum and you will get a lot of nice things in return, and also a better reputation.
I will not tell you what forum to join because that is not really up to me. As I said before there are so many great forums out there. One thing I will help you with tough is some tips that will help YOU to choose.
First off, what are you looking for? A specific genre? Or just an overall forum with all the things you want? I would say that if you feel like there is only 1 genre you like and don’t need anything else then search for a forum that is specific to you genre. But if you think that you might be interested in some other genres then you should join a less specific forum, since you can easily enter different topic groups, which is a lot harder on a specific forum.
Second, assuming that you have found a few forums that look interesting then you should look at the: feel of the forum, how many users the forum have, what the people are like. That’s just a few of the different things I like to look at when I’m joining a forum. The one that is most important to me is how many users the forum have, I think it’s pretty useless to join a forum that just have a few users since it will be slow discussions. It might take as long as a day or two to get some answers to any questions I might have.
If you don’t know where to find forums then Google is you friend. Just Google for gaming forum, game forum etc. If you are looking for a specific forum the just search for ” genre forum/community”. I hope this has helped you a little in your search for forums.
